Medium Density Fibreboard, commonly called MDF, is a man made wood product engineered using wood fibres, wax and resin. Producing a smooth surface free from natural defects. It is formed into panels by applying pressure at high temperatures. MDF sheets are versatile and strong boards but is non-structural and only suitable for internal use. Light in weight the boards have many uses from internal joinery, panelling and shelving and can be cut to any shape or size.
